The history of the Webers company begins half a century ago, but even before the company was founded, Erich Webers was active in the laboratory supply sector in Oberschlesien

1958
Erich Webers founded the company as a general laboratory trade. The target group was industry, like paint manufacturers and the oil industry.

1972
Moved into the office on Brandenheide 34 in Bottrop-Kirchhellen.

1978
The company was transferred from Erich Webers to Webers GmbH to Mr. Peter Webers.

1979
Introduction of IT. Delivery notes and invoices are written using a computer.

1980
Specialization in medical laboratory needs, i.e. Pipette tips, tubes, urine cups, etc. for
Hospitals, laboratories and universities.

1992
Eppendorf offers "Pipettenservice" through authorized dealers, thus a service workspace is created.

1996
The exclusive distribution of ALKO blood gas products is started.

2000
Management taken over by Mr. Axel Webers.

2004
Webers is certified according to ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 13485: 2003.

2005
New additions to the product portfolio include Thermo Scientific Orion products such as electrodes and meters for pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and many ion-sensitive electrodes.

2010
Relocation to the new company headquarters with a new calibration laboratory.

2012
The Piperservice of Webers GmbH has been accredited as a calibration laboratory in accordance with ISO 17025 since June 29, 2012.
